In the 90's, Jill McGillen served in senior management and draws her experience from working as a manager and trainer in a variety of organizational settings. She has designed and facilitated training for ten years.
Her expertise is shown helping client organizations reduce conflict and increase communication effectiveness in their workforce. Working with management and teams, her consulting and facilitation help employees work more effectively together, improve communication, reduce conflict and create more cohesive teams.
She has worked with private sector Fortune 500 companies and public sector organizations. Collaborating with other human resource professionals to ensure successful results on consulting projects of all sizes. She has facilitated and consulted for a wide variety of organizations including Stanford University, City & County of San Francisco, Avid Technology Inc., Carl Zeiss Meditec, Inc., Fujitsu Inc., International Personnel Management Association and many other public, private, and non-profit clients.
She has been a guest speaker at several national conventions, a frequent guest on the KNEW radio talk show JOBTALK, and a guest lecturer at Golden Gate University. Ms. McGillen is also a syndicated work advice columnist (Ask Jill). The column appears weekly in the Oakland Tribune, San Mateo County Times and a number of other California newspapers.
